Student Dress Code

Students should come to school dressed comfortably, appropriately, and ready to learn in a safe environment.

Our dress code includes the following expectations:

• Students should wear closed-toe, secure shoes that are appropriate for outdoor play and physical education activities.

• Clothing should provide appropriate coverage at all times. Halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, midriff shirts, or other clothing that exposes the midriff or leaves the body excessively bare are not permitted.

• Hoodies, hooded jackets, and hooded coats may be worn; however, hoods may not be worn over the head while inside school buildings.

• Hats and other headwear should be removed while inside classrooms unless approved for religious, medical, or other authorized reasons.
