Principal’s Message
Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members,
No one has it better than we do at Hartsfield! I am honored to serve as the Principal of Hartsfield Elementary Magnet School for International Studies.
Each day, I have the privilege of greeting our students as they arrive, and their enthusiasm and excitement remind me what a special place Hartsfield truly is. Our success is made possible through the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community.
As Leon County's only International Baccalaureate (IB) elementary school, we provide students with a challenging, engaging education that extends beyond academics. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students collaborate, think critically, solve real-world problems, and develop the skills needed to become lifelong learners.
This year, our theme is Academic Success is Under Construction, reminding us that every day is an opportunity to build a strong foundation for success. Together, we are committed to ensuring that every student, every day reaches their fullest potential.
Thank you for choosing Hartsfield. We are honored to partner with your family and look forward to an amazing school year. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Welcome to the Hartsfield family!
Sincerely,
John T. Olson
